Part 1 - episode 90
After getting blown across Texas, New Mexico & part of Arizona we have finally made it to the FMCA International Conference and Show in Tucson. We are first-timers (which is a thing) and we have no idea what to expect. Will we get run-over with everyone trying to park or what? We've watched every YouTube video we could find and none of them calmed our fears.
But we have arrived and are determined to have an amazing experience. Let us show you what this type of RV conference is like and maybe you'll try one yourself. Hint: there's tons of shopping for anything you would want for your RV, plus seminars, food and entertainment!
Plus, no matter what type of RV you have, you are welcome with open arms--it is no longer just for motorhomes! (Something else we did not know--and we've been RVing for 20 years!) What a fantastic experience--but we spent too much money!
We loved all the shopping... we both like to ask questions and see demos on products--something you just can't do when you're buying online.
One of the items we are so glad we purchased is the thermostat (pictured above). Since we keep the Starlink on when we leave our rig at the ranch where we board our horses, we can turn the air conditioner on remotely and have it not be over 100 degrees when we arrive a couple of hours later. Plus, if we're out hiking or sightseeing, we can keep an eye on the temps for our kitties & dog. So many people bought them at the show, the vendor ran out of them! It's so simple to install--it's just plug & play. Hint: we do a segment on our YouTube video about how we installed it. It really is easy!
