It's day two of our epic journey to Red Bay, Alabama and Belmont, Mississippi - two charming sister towns straddling the border of two states! Known as a hotspot for RV repairs, we’re on a mission to get there, but Hurricane Francine has thrown a wrench in our plans.
Just our luck, we find ourselves right in the storm's path, but thankfully it’s not the Category 4 beast it was when it slammed into Louisiana. And as if that’s not enough, we face our usual hiccups... this time, our hitch brake cable goes missing! Did it fall apart, or did someone mess with it? Who knows!
On top of that, our intended campground is closed for Hurricane Francine. So, we scramble online and snag the last available site at Starkville KOA – a back-in no less, meaning we have to unhitch. What a ride!
Join us as we attempt to salvage this travel day with a dinner adventure in Starkville. Mike's Pro Tip: Avoid Italian food in Mississippi! LOL!
