Part 2 - Episode 91

This is our first-timer's experience at FMCA's International Conference and Show. We had an amazing time! We learned so much... and we've been RVing for 20+ years. There's always something new to learn and it isn't just solar--though they had several seminars on that one. There was also a solar installer who would come around and give quotes and ideas of how the installation would go. (Because every rig is different.)

We attended a few more seminars, one on Fantasy RV Tours that go to Alaska. Tons of information on that. We went to a seminar that talked about cleaning the rig, and all that 'good' stuff you have to deal with while RVing. More good info we didn't know about. We bought some of their products. We ate some more delicious food-- we love Falafels and they were amazing. So we went back for Gyros the next lunch and they were just as good.

We met up with other RVers and went to a seminar on Chapters of the FMCA (small groups of RVers who live near one another or have something else in common who have their own rallies). We were interested in 2 of them and since they have websites where they post their next rally, we will come to one of their rallies and possibly join their chapter.

We also enjoyed fun and interesting entertainment. They had a band, or some sort of musical group there every day... we never got up early enough to see their breakfast set up but we heard it was great. We did see some entertainment at lunchtime and after dinner, thou with Mike's nerve hurting him, we crashed early most nights. Only the last night there did we make an effort to go to the closing festivities.

They also had a Cantina there that serves drinks and some food. For the first couple of days the Margaritas were a happy hour special so we did partake in that!

The entire convention is dog friendly, though dogs are not allowed inside the buildings. You just have to watch out for nasty little stickers in the grass... we have boots for Enzo so we had them on him most days. So he was nice--he's such a social butterfly! He loves everyone so it was a great way to meet people too.

We got out of our comfort zone and had a fantastic experience at FMCA's conference and show!

Will we go back? Yes!
