On my bucket list! Our visit to Tombstone

It was my birthday weekend and we went to Tombstone!

I had always wanted to take our horses and go there but it was not to be... so we took an amazing day trip and got to immerse ourselves in a historic 1880s town. If you love the historic wild west, western wear and horses, this is a great place to check out.

There is so much to see and do... we saw a stage show of the shoot-out at the OK Corral and it was a riot. (the actors interacted with the audience & made it so much fun!)

We ate lunch at the Crystal Palace, did you know there is an upstairs where you can sit on the balcony and watch all the people walk by. The food and the service was really good too.

We checked out all kinds of stores and shops, there are boot shops and western hat places, plus tack, antiques and clothing stores... something for everyone!

Of course we ended our trip to Tombstone with some delicious, homemade ice cream to top off our adventure. We got ice cream cones which wasn't the best choice though since it was in the high 80s. There was also a motorcycle rally that weekend so the streets were packed with all sorts of people and there was a huge police presence too. No worries... everyone was nice and enjoying themselves.
