We rise with the sun to tackle the trails early, and what a reward it is—wildlife is everywhere, and the blooms are breathtaking! We cover all six miles of the trails, soaking in the beauty. Of course, we indulge in some mouth-watering BBQ, cool off with ice cream, and explore the nature center, park store, the dam, and all the wonders this picturesque park offers. While there are tempting boating opportunities, we’re currently boatless.
